Urban Air Pollution & Indoor Air Quality in Homes Visual Graphs Analysis Presentation – Assignment Help

I’m working on a environmental science project and need an explanation to help me study.

You must choose ONE of the environmental issues listed below. You can narrow down the scope of the topic, as long as it still covers the main environmental issue. For example, if the chosen topic is ‘Biodiversity Loss’ you may choose to focus on one species or one habitat.

This year’s topics are as follows:

  1. Urban Air Pollution
  2. Food and Water Insecurity
  3. Deforestation
  4. Environmental impacts of Fast Fashion
  5. Environmental impacts of Mining

You will be using free online tools to create an Infographic on your chosen topic. It will be your own choice which tool you use. Options include visme.com and piktochart.com. You may also use software such as Microsoft PowerPoint. Make sure you choose a resource that will allow you to save your Infographic as you develop it, and that allows you to download the final product for submission (for example, as a .pdf).

You must include the following elements in your Infographic:

      • Topic Statement – an introduction to the topic as well as a clear statement addressing the environmental issue

      • Visuals– supporting information on the environmental issue and a presentation of your research. All information must be referenced. Your Infographic must also include at least:

        • 1 map
        • 1 graph, chart or table
        • Note: The above items cannot come from lecture notes or e-learning modules

      • Text – There must be text supporting the visuals in your Infographic. There is no word limit on the text, but your entire Infographic should present well, and text should be legible when printed on standard or legal-size paper (8.5” x 11” or 8.5” x 14”)

      • References – a list of references used in your research. You must use at least 5 reputable sources of information. Lecture notes and e-learning modules do not count as sources of information.
      • Size – must fit on 8.5” x 11” or 8.5” x 14” paper. Text must be legible and graphics of good quality when printed at this size.
      • Note: Remember, your Infographics are visual representations of scientific data. There should be a good balance of text and visuals in your final product.

References:All information in your Infographic must be referenced (footnotes are acceptable). You must also include the reference list within your infographic (usually depicted at the bottom). APA is the preferred style. You must use at least 5 references in your Infographic.
      Submission:TWO Formats

      1. Submission of Infographic accepts the following formats: html, doc, docx, hwp, odt, rtf, wpd, txt, ps, pdf, pptx, ppt, ppsx, pps, xls, xlsx, gdoc.
      2. Submission of Text: You must submit a .docx file of any text in your infographic.

Submissions will be evaluated for plagiarism using Turnitin.com. Plagiarism will not be tolerated. Any Similarity Report above 10% will be investigated. PLEASE NOTE: If your sources/reference list are being highlighted in your Infographic Text .docx file in Turnitin (not applicable to your infographic visual), resulting in a higher similarity score, please remove your sources from your text document and submit your sources as a separate, third document. This will mean you will submit the following:

      • 1) Infographic Visual with sources (see acceptable formats above)
      • 2) Infographic text (without sources) as a .docx
      • 3) Reference List as a .docx
