TUA Environmental Impacts Brought by Illicit Drug Production & Eradication Discussion – Assignment Help

I’m working on a political science writing question and need a sample draft to help me learn.

Answer BOTH of the questions below in essay format, drawing on content from the course reading materials. Each essay is typically about 2 pages in length and must be double-spaced, TNR, 1-inch margins. The entire exam, including both essay responses, should be about 4-5 double spaced pages. This exam is due no later than March 8 @ 11 pm. All students should upload a single word document that includes responses to both exam questions as separate essays that are clearly numbered or otherwise labeled to the D2l site, under assignments, final exam.

Please read these additional instructions carefully before starting your exam:

  • Materials: Students can draw from course materials covered since February 1, 2021 (before the midterm, but not since the start of the term). Do not cite any outside sources on this exam. Also, do not include personal anecdotes. The main goal of a final exam is to evaluate mastery of the assigned course materials.
  • Citations: No formal bibliography is required, but you should identify authors by last name in text (do not write out titles) when referring to their specific ideas, arguments, or concepts. Do not cite the course lectures. Lectures are designed to explain and discuss reading materials, which are the primary sources of information that you should reference.
  • Paraphrase: Do not directly quote any part of the reading material. Instead, paraphrase ideas and arguments using your own words to show understanding.
  • Answer the question directly and entirely: Be on point. Directly respond to the question asked and answer all parts of the question. Including extraneous information (i.e., personal anecdote, materials from other courses, or course material that is not directly relevant or off topic) will negatively impact the grade. In addition, vague responses that avoid concrete detail will be marked down. Remember that the exam is designed to evaluate knowledge of assigned course content. An attentive student can identify which course materials are relevant, and which are not. If you’ve forgotten, start with the syllabus schedule. The syllabus organizes all course materials into themes and topics and indicates which course materials were most relevant to a given topic. Those are the materials that you need to discuss in your essay.
  • Explain: Provide complete, precise, and accurate definitions and explanations for concepts and theories from the readings. It is not enough to mention relevant materials. The goal is to explain in order to demonstrate understanding.

Grading: Your work will be graded based on three criteria: (a.) identifying the relevant course material that corresponds to the question (4 points), (b.) explaining and defining key concepts and theories completely and accurately (4 points), and (c.) effectiveness with respect to structure, coherence and clarity (2 points). Each essay is worth a total 10 points.

  • Discuss the social and environmental impacts of both illicit drug production and illicit drug eradication in Latin America. Be sure mention more than one country example and to answer all parts of the question.
  • Describe the social and political impacts of the militarization of public security in Latin America. Be sure to talk about least one country case, and the military response to both illicit drugs and oil, and answer all parts to the question
