ARC Political Science Criminalization of Immigration Annotated Bibliography – Assignment Help

I don’t know how to handle this Political Science question and need guidance.

Problem-Solution Project

The purpose of this project is to demonstrate your ability to identify and examine a current political problem or challenge within one specific country or focused set of select counties, develop a research question, identify and use a variety of appropriate resources to gather information, engage in critical analysis, and present a clear and focused argument based on key concepts and theories and supported by evidence.

The complete project consists of a progressive set of assignments that include an annotated bibliography, a written proposal, a persuasive research-based paper, and an academic poster presentation.

For a full description and instructions, review the Problem-Solution Project: Description page.

Annotated Bibliography

What to Do

  • identify a topic of interest relevant to the problem-solution project assignment
  • identify a total of at least eight (8) sources, including at least four (4) “library” sources (books, academic journal articles, magazine or news articles, videos that were found using OneSearch) about the topic in which you are interested
  • for each source
    • provide a complete citation following MLA Style
    • include a 100-150 word (one paragraph) annotation that, in your own words, provides a summary and evaluation
      • Short summary: What type of source is it? What does it discuss? What main points does the creator (or other contributors) of the source make?
      • Critical evaluation of its accuracy, relevance, and quality for this project: Is this source likely to be useful for this assignment? Is the information accurate and relevant? Is the purpose of the work, perspective, and any potential bias clear and appropriate? If you determine it to be useful, how do you anticipate using it? How is it different from other sources and what does it add to your research?

Basis for Evaluation

  • All sources are about an appropriate topic for the problem-solution project.
  • A complete citation for each source is formatted in MLA Style: 8th Edition (Links to an external site.).
  • The annotation for each source includes both a short summary and critical evaluation relevant to the problem-solution project.
  • Each note is of the suggested length of approximately 100-150 words (word count does not include the citation).
  • Academic integrity is demonstrated. Annotations should be written in your own words and reflect your own thinking. When you submit your assignment, it will be submitted to Turnitin to generate a Similarity Report. For more information, refer to Using Turnitin with Canvas (Links to an external site.).
  • Appropriate writing conventions for spelling, punctuation, capitalization, grammar, and sentence structure are followed.
  • Submitted by the due date and time.
